Ted's Great Columbus Day Adventure

We started out with a short cruise to Rock Creek, to get our sea legs and get in the mood for steamed crabs from the pier.  We anchored off of the Maryland Yacht Club and watched the Stanford-Notre Dame game (which had a happy ending at least) during a nice happy hour.  Ted enjoyed the boat (and was very successful with the entry and exit), but was less thrilled with the crabs.  We also did a pork tenderloin on the spit, which he liked much better.  As Papa says, "Good.  That's one less person to buy crabs."  Here are some pictures:

Then we were off to the Little Italy Columbus day celebration (dinner at the Lodge, bocce ball tournament, parade), preceded and followed by a really nice boat ride into the Inner Harbor.  MomMom and Papa and our good friends, Grif and Tom Pedroni, also shared the day with us.  (NOTE: Click on the small photos to see them below; and use the arrows on the left and right to scroll through the whole album.)
