The construction of our ocean-going trawler is well underway in China. We had a great visit to the yard to pick out finishing/ decorative materials and finalize some cabinetry and layout decisions. We'll keep updating this "slideshow" of Blue Grotto's progress. You can see from these photos not only what she looks like now, but also how many of the components will be fabricated for the final assembly:
Well, the decision has been made regarding our next "chapter": We will be building a Selene 55 (62' overall length) that will look very much like this beautiful boat, formerly M/V Celebrate owned by our good friends, Chuck and Andrea Wistar, and now M/V Koan, owned by our new friend, Chris Wells. We have now had many great cruising adventures with Chris and look forward to buddy cruising with him and our other Selene friends in the future with Blue Grotto.
